Ryan Anthony Martinez aka "IllestRated" is an accomplished yet still starving LIVE artist whose inspiration feeds off his hunger for electronic dance music and performing on stage with his favorite djs/producers/visual artists. Having achieved both his B.A. in graphic design and his M.F.A. in illustration, his formal education paired with a very raw and energetic talent have allowed him to become versatile and expressive in his current artventures. With the emergence of LIVE painting into the hip hop/club scene almost a decade ago, Ryan has strived to make his name known as the "IllestRated" live painter in the electronic dance music scene by performing with and depicting the icons who are ushering in the music of the future...

Thesis
"Illestrated Visions" is the moniker for the artistic identity and series of illustrations created by Ryan Anthony Martinez used to tell his personal story. This series of acrylic/ digital paintings illustrates Ryan's passion for finding himself as a man and an artist within festival/ RAVE culture.
